After a recent announcement that The Theater Company of Hoboken (TTC) will be going on a hiatus, they've named Richard O'Brien's THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW as their "farewell for the time being" production. This is TTC's fourth time producing this Sci-fi cult hit, which has gotten its own cult following within the Hoboken/Hudson County community through TTC.
Perhaps OpenStage Theatre should make this a regular part of Halloween festivities. For the second year in a row, thanks to an audience poll of favorites for the company's 40th anniversary, the company is staging Richard O'Brien's The Rocky Horror Show, with an appropriate opening on Halloween weekend.

Running through November 17, this Science Fiction parody musical, with book, music and lyrics by Richard O'Brien, has been a favorite with audiences since it opened in London in 1973.

The classic film Rocky Horror Picture Show will be shown at Hershey Theatre on Friday, October 26 at 11:59 PM (Midnight). This 1975 cult classic film stars Tim Curry, Susan Sarandon, Barry Bostwick, Richard O'Brien, and Meat Loaf. For fullest enjoyment of the film, a limited number of audience participation bags will be available for purchase.

Held at The New Tropicana Las Vegas Historic Showroom, the event featured the company of WICKED. Tamsin Greig returns to star as Hilary, the part for which she won universal acclaim at the Royal Court. Doon Mackichan also returns to play her best friend, Frances. Oliver Tobias and Paul Nicholas - two of the original stars of the musical Hair when it premiered in the West End in 1968 - are to make guest appearances in a celebrity-packed fundraiser performance of the musical in the West End for the Help For Heroes charity on Sunday July 1.
