After a recent announcement that The Theater Company of Hoboken (TTC) will be going on a hiatus, they've named Richard O'Brien's THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW as their "farewell for the time being" production. This is TTC's fourth time producing this Sci-fi cult hit, which has gotten its own cult following within the Hoboken/Hudson County community through TTC.

"After we first mounted ROCKY HORROR back in 2005, audiences kept begging us to do over and over again," notes Producing Artistic Director David Zimmerman, "and since then we've done it two more times. For some people it was their first time seeing it as a fully live theatrical production rather than the 'Picture Show' version, and they were blown away."

Audience participation is a must for this live production and everyone is encouraged to come in their favorite ROCKY HORROR costume, and be ready to interact with the cast, which includes cast members from all of the productions. Eric Anderson, who originated the role of "Riff Raff" for TTC back in 2005, will be joined by Jennifer Connor, who will be returning to the role of "Janet," as will Paul Kazlaski to the role of "Rocky" from this past October's production.

Other cast members who will be coming back include: Muslimah Mays and Steven Slatten who are joined by TTC regulars and new company members alike: Kristina Asriyan, Julia Biera, Walter Free, Tara Kulbatski, Susan T. Mitchell, Charlotte Vaugh Raines, Christine Marie Walsh, Tim White, and Michael Reyna as Dr. Frank-N-Futer himself. Full production information is available at www.thetheatercompany.org/Rocky.html.

Zimmerman offers readers an inside tip to purchase their tickets in advance as there is limited seating and the show generally "sells out, but probably more-so since this is our last show for a while."

With Book, Music & Lyrics by Richard O'Brien, the production is directed by Clara Barton Green with musical direction by David Zimmerman and choreography by Robert Gonzales Jr. Performances run tonight, October 25, 2012 at 8pm and October 26 & 27, 2012 at 8pm & 11pm at Monroe TheatreSpace - 2nd Floor, Monroe Center for the Arts, 720 Monroe, St., Hoboken, NJ

Tickets: $25 adults - $15 students & seniors. By credit card online www.brownpapertickets.com/event/274178 or cash or check at the door. Goodie Bags: $5/each or free to those who come in costume – while supplies last.
