The Best of Broadway & Cabaret will come out in support of the Actors' Temple, (est. 1917) on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 6:45 PM. The Third Annual Concert will take place at the Temple, 339 West 47th Street. This theater district historic landmark has been struggling to survive in recent years.

Culture Project, in association with Innocence Project, Marc & Steven Kaplan, and Cheryl Wiesenfeld, welcomes Anthony Arkin (I'm Not Rappaport), Keir Dullea (Butterflies Are Free; 2001: A Space Odyssey) and Carol Kane (Wicked, Hester Street) to the rotating cast of the 10th anniversary production of the hit, award-winning play, The Exonerated, written by Jessica Blank and Erik Jensen, for one-week only November 6 - 11 at Culture Project (45 Bleecker Street at Lafayette Street) where performances began September 15 for a limited engagement through December 2nd. Marsha Mason will join the rotating cast November 13 -18.

Following up on BWW's exclusive scoop on a presentation of the show, Michael Riedel reports this morning that the show has indeed been picked up by Tom Viertel and Richard Frankel who are aiming to bring the show to New York next fall.

Just yesterday, Atlantic Theater Company held the grand reopening of its main stage Linda Gross Theater following a historic $8.3 million renovation of the landmark theater housed in a nineteenth century church in Manhattan's Chelsea neighborhood. A dedication ceremony hosted by Atlantic founding members Emmy and Golden Globe Award® winner Felicity Huffman and Academy Award® nominee William H. Macy officially christened the newly renovated theater, featuring a gala cocktail hour attended by Atlantic company members, Manhattan Borough President Scott Stringer and government officials and a special musical tribute. Red Bull Theater (Jesse Berger, Artistic Director) will present its 2012-‘13 Revelation Readings beginning Monday, October 22nd, at their new home, the Lucille Lortel Theater, 121 Christopher Street between Bleecker & Hudson Streets.

According to an Equity casting notice, Nora Ephron's LUCKY GUY will open on Broadway at a Shubert Theatre in March 2013. Though casting has not been announced, Tom Hanks was previously attached to the project before Ephron's death last summer.
