Playwrights Billy Van Zandt and Jane Milmore will star in their comedy of errors, You've Got Hate Mail, when it returns to the Triad for a 7 p.m. performance on Friday, November 2. The theater is located at 158 West 72nd St, NYC.

Glenn Jones, Barbara Bonilla and Fran Solgan will reprise their roles alongside the playwrights in the comedy about on-line hook-ups and break-ups. Gary Shaffer directs.
Now in its third year at the Triad, recent productions of the comedy have featured a long list of guest stars including Richard Kind (“The Producers” “Spin City”), Brian O’Halloran (“Clerks”), Jeff Keller (“Phantom of the Opera”), Meg Bennett (“Grease,” “General Hospital”), Cerina Vincent (“Not Another Teen Movie”) and Julia Duffy (“Newhart”).
Called “the masters of modern farce,” Van Zandt and Milmore are among the most produced playwrights in the world. They have also garnered multiple film and TV awards for their work as stage actors, producers, and writers.

You’ve Got Hate Mail is Van Zandt & Milmore’s comic answer to A.R. Gurney’s “Love Letters.” Love "bytes" all when an extra-marital affair goes horribly wrong, thanks to a juicy e-mail left sitting on a desktop. The story is told entirely in e-mails from laptop computers, although the play does manage to have an unforgettable chase scene - thanks to Blackberries and iPhones.

Tickets are $30 - $35 and are available through SmartTix.com at 212-868-4444. For more information, go to www.youvegothatemail.com.
