Red Bull Theater is the not-profit Off-Broadway theater company specializing in plays of heightened language, with a unique focus on the Jacobean plays of Shakespeare and his contemporaries. Charles Isherwood in The New York Times called Red Bull Theater "a troupe that lovers of classic theater should put on the must-watch list." Their productions of Pericles, Revenger's Tragedy, Edward the Second, Women Beware Women, Duchess of Malfi, The Witch of Edmonton and The Maids all enjoyed extended sold-out Off-Broadway runs. On Monday October 22, the will host a benefit reading of Molière's THE MISER, adapted and directed by Doug Hughes.

The reading will feature Steven Boyer, Richard Kind, TR Knight, Nicole Lowrance, Jan Maxwell, John Procaccino, Reg Rogers, and Richard Thomas.
