The Daily Mail reports that Richard Fleeshman, who just participated in a workshop production of the new BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM musical and last starred in the West End's GHOST, will soon be starring in a slightly more 'low-brow' role. He will play 'Bobby Strong' in the London debut of URINETOWN at the St. James Theatre, beginning February 22, 2014.

According to the Daily Mail, the upcoming musical adaptation of BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM held a developmental workshop last Saturday, October 5. Stage and screen star Samantha Barks played 'Jules' -- who was portrayed by Keira Knightley in the 2002 movie -- alongside Tara Divina as 'Jess' (originated by Parminder Nagra on screen) in the starring role.

Shoshana Bean performed to a full house at the iconic Hippodrome in London on Wednesday 7th August. The last minute surprise sell out gig produced by Amzi Entertainment included special guests Sammie jay, Richard Fleeshman, Frances Ruffelle, Willemijn Verkaik and an impromptu encore performance of Home (requested by the audience) with Scott Alan dragged up to play piano. GHOST's Australia Run Delayed Due to Poor Ticket Sales

According to the Herald Sun, GHOST, which was to make its Australian premiere at Her Majesty's Theatre in August 2013, has been postponed due to poor advance sales. Producer Louise Withers told HS: 'It's always disappointing when there is a postponement like this but it's a very complicated business. Initially we thought we would be able to use the UK set but it will take too long to transport it in Australia where the market has to be reduced, based on the shorter seasons the show has had in the UK and the US.'
