With a goal of topping last year's record-breaking half million dollars raised in its ongoing battle against Parkinson's disease, LIGHT OF DAY 'SWEET LITTLE 16' CELEBRATION, presented by the Asbury Park Press, the 16th anniversary edition of the anchor event for the world-renowned Light of Day Foundation, will bring over 150 music acts to 30 venues over 10 days in three New Jersey cities, New York City, and Philadelphia, in January, following holiday season tours of Europe and Canada.

Halloween is about to get REAL weird. For the first time anywhere, EVER, The Strand Theater and Asbury Park Press 'soul sensation' Remember Jones present R. The Castaway Players Theatre Company, 'the alternative theatre company of the Hudson Valley', presents the classic rock opera, The Who's TOMMY, at The CENTER for Performing Arts in Rhinebeck, NY. Bebop meets hip hop as generations collide in Horizon Theatre's second world premiere of the season, Sheddin' by Thomas W. Jones II. The raucous comedy set in an Atlanta backyard follows up on Jones' 2009 hit A Cool Drink A Water, called "an unexpected breath of fresh air" by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The summer hoopla filled with humor echoing the legendary Kings of Comedy kicks off tonight, July 13th and continues for a seven-week run through August 19th.
