According to the Hollywood Reporter, the final appearance of talk show host Regis Philbin on the ABC morning show LIVE WITH REGIS AND KELLY delievered huge ratings for the network. Last Friday's show pulled ia 7.7 household rating and a whopping 23% of households in the nation were tuned in to the special farewell episode.

The cast of the landmark musical Rent performed today on Regis Philbin's final episode of 'Live! with Regis and Kelly.' Mr. Philbin's extraordinary run was celebrated in his final minutes on the show with a surprise performance of Rent's signature song, 'Seasons of Love,' with special lyrics penned for the occasion by the production teams of both shows. ABC's Special '20/20' Draws the Net's 2nd Biggest Audience in the Slot in 10 months. During the 8 o'clock hour, A Special Edition of 20/20 - Regis Philbin: The Morning Maestro with Katie Couric pulled in a strong 8.0 million viewers on average, drawing ABC's biggest audience in the hour in 8 weeks (since 9/22/11) and its 2nd largest viewer count in 10 months - since 1/20/11.

The New York Pops orchestra, under the baton of Music Director Steven Reineke, celebrates the holidays with swinging seasonal favorites on December 16 and 17, 2011 at 8:00pm. Deadline reports that talk show host Kelly Ripa has just signed a deal to remain as host of ABC's daytime talk show LIVE for another five years. Currently, Ripa's contract goes to the fall of 2012.
