On August 6, 2015, The New York Pops will perform an inaugural concert at its new summer home, Forest Hills Stadium, with two-time Tony Award winner Sutton Foster, joined by former Broadway co-stars Colin Donnell and Megan McGinnis. Among other numbers, Foster will perform John Denver's "Sunshine on my Shoulders," Cole Porter's "I Get a Kick Out of You," and will reprise her touching duet "Flight" with McGinnis. Donnell will perform a duet with Foster, in addition to "On the Streets of Dublin," from Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty's A Man of No Importance. The concert is sponsored by Morgan Stanley and Reed Smith.

WHAT: American guitar maker Paul Reed Smith will present a custom-made electric guitar to The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Monday, October 7, at 4:30 p.m. The presentation will take place at the Museum's Temple of Dendur in The Sackler Wing and will be followed by a musical demonstration by legendary guitarist John McLaughlin. Paul Reed Smith heads one of the most successful and influential guitar companies in the world and his instruments have been used by many of the most prominent electric guitarists of the last quarter century. The Metropolitan Museum is pleased to add this guitar, representing one of the most important contemporary guitar makers, to its encyclopedic collection of musical instruments.

The statue was created by premiere American artist and innovator Dale Evers. This immense sculpture is entitled WINGS OF LEGEND.
