Afro-Indigenous singer/songwriter Martha Redbone and her collaborator/husband Aaron Whitby will bring a work-in-progress showing of their new theater project CONVERSATIONS to the Ancram Center for the Arts on Sunday, August. 4, at 4pm.
Leading artists and activists including Marisa Tomei, Kerry Washington, and Stephanie Hsu will gather at The Town Hall for the book launch of Voices of a People's History of the United States in the 21st Century.
Eisemann Center Presents in partnership with UT Dallas: BONE HILL: THE CONCERT by renowned blues and soul singer Martha Redbone on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 7:30 pm. The concert will conclude a week-long residency at the UT Dallas School of Arts & Humanities and will feature student vocalists in a showcase performance prior to the interdisciplinary theater performance by Ms. Redbone and company. BONE HILL: THE CONCERT was written by Martha Redbone, Aaron Whitby and Roberta Uno, who directs the piece, with original compositions by Redbone and Whitby.
Lott Entertainment Presents' spring lineup will take fans on an epic journey through Cherokee country, into a world of whimsical sexual exploration-one that is taking Off Broadway by storm-and, finally, into a multi-genre glimpse into the lives of six different musicians, all portrayed by one man. All performances will take place at Lott Entertainment Presents' new home in the Neuhaus Theatre at the Alley Theatre.
