It has been announced that 'Miss Humanity,' the new musical comedy by New York composer/lyricist Daniel Lincoln and screenwriter Michael DiGaetano, will be presented in a public reading at The Dramatists Guild in Times Square, Manhattan. The reading will star Brian Charles Rooney (B'Way: The ThreePenny Opera), Zachary Clause (Naked Boys Singing), Jody Cole Wood (All Shook Up), and Rebecca Johnson (White Christmas).

The Lyric Opera of Kansas City opens its 53rd season with Carmen. This will be the Company's final season in the Lyric Theatre. Beginning in the fall of 2011, the Lyric Opera will perform at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.
