On Sunday, October 3, 2010, Gay and Lesbian Elder Housing presented its 9th annual Garden Party at the historic Petitfils-Boos Estate in the exclusive Hancock Park section of Los Angeles. The event which serves as the organizations largest fundraising and awareness effort honored long-time G.L.E.H. supporters Filmmaker Adam Shankman, HIV/AIDS Clinical Specialist Dr. Tony Mills and legendary television entertainment reporter Rona Barrett.
On Sunday, September 26, the California AIDS Walk was held in Griffith Park, Los Angeles. Hosted by Wanda Sykes and Blair Underwood, special guests Megan Hilty, Eden Espinosa, Magic Johnson, Hanson, Shontelle, Cazwell, Jermaine Jackson attended the walk and performed in concert for the walkers.

With funding from the Station North Arts and Entertainment District Second Saturdays, the Strand Theater Company will produce an evening of staged readings of six 10-minute plays written by members of the Playwrights Group of Baltimore and performed by local actors on Saturday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis; donations are accepted.
