Sunday night's performance of Villain: DeBlanks SPACE HOLE! closed out the comedy-benefit's monthly run at The Triad NYC. Produced by Tony-nominee Brenda Braxton, who also starred in the latest performance, Villain: DeBlanks has been a genuine fan-favorite, offering audiences the chance to meet & mingle with the all-star casts while also providing them ridiculous words to add to the show's unpredictability.

Bernadette Peters Cancels Summer 2016 Crown & Anchor Concert; Lily Tomlin & More Join Lineup

?Producer Rick Murray has added three powerhouse talents to the 2016 Broadway Series in Provincetown, Massachusetts this season at The Crown & Anchor's Paramount Theatre and Town Hall Auditorium.  Award-winning performers Lypsinka, Charles Busch, and Lily Tomlin join a star-studded array of Broadway talent.  Following up on last summer's smash hit season, the 2016 Broadway Series also includes previously announced headliners Alan Cumming, Lucie Arnaz, Liz and Ann Hampton Callaway, Linda Eder, Levi Kreis, and Randy Graff.  Tickets are now on sale for the Series, in which these Oscar, Tony, Emmy, and Grammy Award-winning stars will be performing live in full concerts. 

Hits from RENT, WICKED & More to be Featured on First NOW THAT'S WHAT I CALL BROADWAY! Album

NOW That's What I Call Music!, the world's best-selling multi-artist album series, has announced that they are set to release their first ever NOW That's What I Call Broadway! on Friday, April 29, 2016. The album will feature 18 music tracks from the original cast recordings of some of the Great White Way's most legendary shows. The album features liner notes by David Cote, theater editor for Time Out New York as well as a playwright and librettist/lyricist.

Today in 1987, Les Miserables opened at the Broadway Theatre, where it ran for 6680 performances. Written by Claude-Michel Schonberg, based on the novel by Victor Hugo, Les Miserables is set in early 19th-century France. The plot follows the stories of many characters as they struggle for redemption and revolution. An ensemble that includes prostitutes, student revolutionaries, factory workers, and others joins the lead characters. In January 2010, it played its ten-thousandth performance in London, at Queen's Theatre in London's West End. On 3 October 2010, the show celebrated its 25th anniversary with three productions running in the same city: the original show at London's West End; the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary touring production at the original home of the show, the Barbican Centre; and the Twenty-Fifth Anniversary concert at London's O2 Arena. The original Broadway cast included Colm Wilkinson as Jean Valjean, David Bryant as Marius, Judy Kuhn as Cosette, Michael Maguire as Enjolras, Frances Ruffelle as Eponine, Braden Danner as Gavroche, Donna Vivino as Young Cosette, Jennifer Butt as Madame Thenardier, Leo Burmester as Thenardier, Randy Graff as Fantine, and Terrence Mann as Javert.

On Monday, February 29, Villain: DeBlanks SPACE HOLE! made its West Coast premiere at Rockwell Table & Stage in LA, benefitting the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. The hilarious, one-night performance starred Nicole Parker, Barrett Foa, Mary Birdsong, Tom Lenk, Gabrielle Ruiz & Greg Ainsworth, and the special media guest was Tom Perumean of KABC-LA. BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! to Receive Mayoral Proclamation

The 6th annual BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! - a concert that raises much-needed funds for Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation - will be the recipient of a Mayor Proclamation when the event takes place on Monday, February 29 at the Edison Ballroom (240 W. 47 St.) at 6;30 pm in NYC, it has been announced by Julie Halston, the event's emcee and one of its founders and producers.

Each one's a guilty pleasure! The February 7 cast for the new comedy-improv phenomenon 'Villain: DeBlanks' is just as dangerously funny as the previous line-ups. Audiences will be shown the evidence onSunday February 7, at 7:30pm at The Triad, 158 West 72nd Street. The series plays the first Sunday of the month through April 3, 2016.

HAMILTON's Daveed Diggs Joins BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! Lineup

Daveed Diggs - one of the breakout stars of the Broadway musical HAMILTON - has joined the line-up for BROADWAY BELTS FOR PFF! - the sixth annual concert, featuring Broadway stars in an evening of music and comedy that benefits the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, it has been announced by the event organizers.  BROADWAY BELTS takes a leap this Leap Year and will be presented at a larger venue due to increased demand with more glamour, more songs, more seats (!) on Sadie Hawkins Day, Monday, February 29 at 7 pm at the Edison Ballroom (240 West 47 St.) in New York City.
