Honoring the anniversary of the birth and death of William Shakespeare, Centenary Stage Company is pleased to present classical theatre giants Randall Duk Kim and Anne Occhiogrosso starring in, The Pleasure of His Company: Our Love Affair with William Shakespeare and the First Folio, an evening of personal recollections, dramatic scenes and stories of Shakespeare's influence on Kim and Occhiogrosso's lives and careers for more than four decades on Sunday, April 23  at 3:00pm in the Lackland Performing Arts Center.

UW/Madison's Union Theatre and Shannon Hall presents the world premiere of Randall Duk Kim and Anne Occhiogrosso starring in 'The Pleasure of His Company: Our 40 Year Love Affair with William Shakespeare,' an evening of personal recollections, dramatic scenes and stories of Shakespeare's influence on Kim and Occhiogrosso's lives and careers for more than four decades, at 7:00 PM on October 21 at UW/Madison's Union Theatre / Shannon Hall. The 2-character performance piece, conceived and written by Kim and Occhiogrosso for this occasion, combines performance of signature Shakespearean dramatic scenes with performance pieces which celebrate Shakespeare's contribution to world literature.

The short stories and sketches of James Thurber, Dorothy Parker, and the legendary Mark Twain fill the bill of Centenary Stage Company's ninth GREAT AUTHORS ALOUD series for this free staged reading event on Sunday, September 7th at 3 pm in The Kutz Black Box Theatre. This exploration of the human foibles, comic frustrations and eccentricities of ordinary people will be read by Randall Duk Kim and Anne Occhiogrosso. At a time when the world seems to be falling down around our ears and human behavior has left the sanest of us baffled, a healthy dose of these three might be exactly what the doctor ordered to reassure ourselves that the world isn't going crazy; it's simply always been that way.

Under the direction of these two acclaimed teachers, students in the Acting Shakespeare Master Class will focus on developing acting skills through the 'Bard's' great literary works that will aid and empower actors embracing auditions as well as performances. This class is designed for high school seniors, college students, and adult actors wishing to enhance their skills in classical language and performance.
