SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES will run at the Delaware Theatre Company through October 8, and the critics are weighing in!

Based on the novel of the same name by Ray Bradbury, the world premiere of SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES will run at the Delaware Theatre Company through October 8.

Delaware Theatre Company captures lightning in a bottle with the World Premiere musical adaptation of Something Wicked This Way Comes, based on the classic best-selling novel by Ray Bradbury. The spine-tingling tale of a traveling carnival that mysteriously arrives in a small town is woven on stage with music and lyrics by Neil Bartram and book by Brian Hill (Broadway: The Story of My Life).

Asolo Rep's highly anticipated 2017-18 season 'Staging Our World' kicks off in November with Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Tony Award-winning musical masterpiece EVITA.

It has just been announced that the new musical October Sky, inspired by the Universal Pictures film and "Rocket Boys" by Homer H. Hickam Jr. will receive a developmental lab from October 23-November 10, 2017 in New York City.

Today's subject Erin Weaver is currently living her theatre life onstage at Imagination Stage in Bethesda, MD playing the title role in Wonderland: Alice's Rock & Roll Adventure. The production continues performances now through August 13th.

The New York Musical Festival (NYMF) and CPA Theatricals present Numbers Nerds, the [almost] all-girl math challenge, with book by Laura Stratford, Music by David Kornfeld, lyrics by Alex Higgin-Houser, additional music by Dylan MarcAurele and original story by Larry Little.  Amber Mak, New Works Development Director at Chicago's Paramount Theatre, directs and choreographs a cast of six, including Danielle Davila, Madison Kauffman, Jake Morrissy, Maisie Rose, Sharon Sachs (Film: 'Home Alone;'  TV: 'Weeds,' 'Dexter,' 'Grimm') and Tiffany Tatreau (Ride the Cyclone). Six performances will be staged at the Peter Jay Sharp Theater, 416 West 42nd Street, New York City from July 19-23, 2017.

Porchlight Music Theatre annouces that its 2017 ICONS Gala celebrating the career of Broadway legend Hal Prince held Sunday, April 30 in the Atlantic Ballroom at the Radisson Blu Aqua Chicago, 221 N. Columbus Drive, broke its records for number of attendees and funds raised, making it the most succesful gala in the organization's 22-year history. The Gala, with honorary chair Paul Lisnek, included special guest Lonny Price and performances from Chicago's leading talents celebrating the career of Hal Prince, the presentation of the 2017 Guy Adkins Award for Excellence in the Advancement of Music Theatre in Chicago to Rachel Rockwell and silent and live auctions. Proceeds from the event and its accompanying auctions benefit Porchlight's educational programs and productions.

Goodman Theatre invites members of the Chicagoland theater community-directors, designers, actors and theater artisans working at local performing arts venues-to a giveaway that includes select prop and set pieces from past Goodman productions. Every item is offered completely free of charge, and all must be taken immediately. Previews are not available prior to the sale.
