Florida Repertory Theatre has announced that two of its canceled productions are now available for online streaming and on-demand in-home viewing for ticket-buying patrons.

With all theatres in SWFL going dark due to COVID-19, many artists and theatres are finding ways to help out and bring joy to the community, whether that's donating food to people who lost their jobs, having live stream readings of plays on Facebook, sewing medical masks to donate to hospitals, or a number of other things. I wanted to highlight some of the special ways the SWFL arts community has come together to help each other out and bring light to the darkness of this time, so in no particular order, here they are! I will update this post with any additional positive happenings as they appear!

Florida Repertory Theatre has announced the opening of 'Alabaster' by Audrey Cefaly, as part of a 10-theatre National New Play Network Rolling World Premiere. Chosen from Florida Rep's 2018 PlayLab Festival of New Works, 'Alabaster' plays in the ArtStage Studio Theatre Dec. 20, 2019 to Jan. 26, 2020 with four nearly sold-out previews Dec. 17-19.

Florida Repertory Theatre's 2019 PlayLab Festival of New Plays and Emerging Voices kicks off May 9 with readings of five new plays and one musical, a command performance of the world-premiere play for young audiences, 'Refugee,' and a Keynote Address from literary agent, Susan Gurman.

Florida Repertory Theatre's Education Department is pleased to announce its 2019-2020 season line-up. Originally slated to close on March 6, the farce will extend it's run to Saturday, March 9 due to overwhelming popular demand.
