JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, will surpass The Producers with 2,503 performances, becoming the 22nd longest-running show in Broadway history and the longest running show in Jujamcyn Theaters' history, following the performance on Tuesday, November 29.

Happy Thanksgiving Weekend, everyone! If you're a follower of BWW's School in the Spotlight series, you'll know that every Friday, we shine a spotlight on a school's performing arts program. With today being the day after Thanksgiving, to keep that celebratory feeling going, we bring you a special look back at the schools that have been featured in the past few weeks.

Beginning with tonight's performance, Andy Karl and Quinn Van Antwerp have joined the Broadway cast of Jersey Boys. Karl (Legally Blonde, Wicked) steps in the role of Tommy DeVito; Dominic Nolfi departed on September 25th. Direct from the national tour of JERSEY BOYS, VanAntwerp steps in the role of Bob Gaudio; Ryan Jesse departed October 9. Karl (Legally Blonde, Wicked) will step in the role of Tommy Devito following the departure of Dominic Nolfi on September 25th. Direct from the national tour of JERSEY BOYS, VanAntwerp will step in the role of Bob Gaudio following the departure of Ryan Jesse on October 9. Erik Bates will play the role of Tommy DeVito for performances September 27 through October 9.

Jersey Boys, the Tony Award winning Broadway musical based on The Four Seasons, is already making a big splash here in Omaha. With press night being only the third night of performances in Omaha, I was more than a little surprised to find that some audience members were already seeing Jersey Boys for the second time in three days. Some were even talking about their plans to see it again for a third and fourth time in the following weeks. After having the opportunity to see the national touring production of Jersey Boys Friday night, it's clear to me why audiences are drawn to this show, time and time again.
