Last night, Queensland Theatre's Artistic Director Lee Lewis announced the company's 2022 season; a season that's full of big plays and big ideas.

Connecticut Repertory Theatre opens its 2021-22 season with She Kills Monsters by Qui Nguyen, directed by Beth Gardiner.

On August 27, 2021, the inaugural season of Wayward Voices  continues with a summer premiere of “Collective Stories.” The New York-based company,  The Sống Collective, partners with The Ujima Company along with the California-based organizer and advocate thuan nguyen to create the devised Theatre piece.

The School's six-show season will comprise four Arizona Repertory Theatre (ART) productions and two productions presented by the Next Performance Collective (NPC), and will take place from October 2021 through May 2022.

Boise Contemporary Theater, the only professional theater in the state of Idaho that focuses entirely on new and contemporary plays, is thrilled to announce the selections for its inaugural BIPOC Playwrights Festival, made possible by the Idaho Women's Charitable Foundation and the Morrison Center Endowment Foundation. New Dramatists, an artistic home and developmental laboratory for professional playwrights, is proud to announce two new board members, Sharon Bridgforth and Qui Nguyen. Both Bridgforth and Nguyen are playwrights and alumni of New Dramatists, where each held a seven-year residency.

Thirteen schools have been invited to perform on the main stage at the nation’s leading high school theatre festival. The International Thespian Festival takes place June 22-25, 2021, in its all-virtual format. Produced by the Educational Theatre Association, the festival celebrates student achievement in the performing arts. 

Geffen Stayhouse’s sixth virtual production Jared Mezzocchi’s SOMEONE ELSE’S HOUSE world premieres April 30, 2021. This live, virtual, and interactive theatrical experience was written and will be performed by Jared. Based on the true-life haunting encounters of generations of his family living in New England, the Zoomed audience will follow along with Jared narrating his family histories using the “haunting kits” pre-mailed before their reserved performance.
