Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo to Return to Segerstrom Center with LAC, 3/7-9

Segerstrom Center for the Arts welcomes the return of Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo March 7 - 9, 2014 under the Presidency of H.R.H. the Princess of Hanover. The company will perform the American premiere of LAC, a new and brilliantly re-imagined telling of the Swan Lake story by Jean- Christophe Maillot, the company's choreographer and director.

David Zinman and Richard Goode Return to the NY Phil Tonight

David Zinman will return to the New York Philharmonic to lead Thomas Ades's Three Studies from Couperin, Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 18 with Richard Goode as soloist, and Mendelssohn's Symphony No. 3, Scottish, tonight, December 5, 2013, at 7:30 p.m.; Friday, December 6 at 8:00 p.m.; and Saturday, December 7 at 8:00 p.m.

Now on exhibit at the Michener Art Museum is From Philadelphia to Monaco: GRACE KELLY - Beyond the Icon, an exhibition allowing visitors to learn more about her life and heritage. On October 26, Their Serene Highnesses Prince Albert II (Grace Kelly's son) and Princess Charlene of Monaco attended the opening night gala at the Michener. Among the many special guests, donors, and Friends of Grace was Broadway's own Leslie Odom, Jr. who sang a spectacular array of standard classics and a single from his upcoming debut album. Go Comedy! Announces Special Halloween Shows

Go Comedy!, Michigan's premier improv theater, will bring laughter and screams to its stage this month with a new comedy from Go U! The Improv Academy and a return of two Go Comedy! favorites. Buffalo Bill Center of the West Presents Commemorative Sculpture to Monaco's Prince Albert

In honor of the visit of HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco-Albert I's great, great grandson-to the Buffalo Bill Center of the West, September 19 - 22, 2013, the Center initiated a Monaco Sculpture Competition in fall 2012, asking contemporary western sculptors to commemorate the 1913 hunting excursion of Prince Albert I of Monaco and Buffalo Bill.

Engaging in "diplomacy through gastronomy", 20 personal chefs of the world's presidents, prime ministers, kings, queens and princes are partnering with the InterContinental New York Barclay Hotel's Executive Chef Serge Devesa and City Harvest to serve lunch to more than 200 New Yorkers in need at the Xavier Mission, located at 55 W 15th Street in New York on Saturday, July 27.

Following her debut EP So Polite, released this spring, Sasha Siem will play a show at Joe's Pub in New York on July 22. Siem has recently been honored with a Jerwood Fellowship to develop a new dramatic stage work and received a Futurum Award from Prince Albert of Monaco, as well as receiving a commission from the International Contemporary Ensemble for a composition set to premiere December 3 at Roulette NYC. Siem recently performed a fully choreographed song cycle at the Royal Opera House in London and is currently collaborating with Mercury Prize nominee Sam Lee.
