Photo Flash: First Look at Mint Theater's A DAY BY THE SEA at Theatre Row

Coming up next for Mint Theater Company will be the first ever New York revival of A Day by the Sea by N.C. Hunter, directed by Austin Pendleton. This will be the Mint's first production as a resident theater company at Theatre Row. Performances continue through September 24th at their new home at the Beckett Theater at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street between 9th and Dyer Avenues). Opening Night is set for August 25th. Cast of LITTLE WARS Set for Reading, Signing at Drama Book Shop

The Drama Book Shop welcomes an acclaimed cast, comprised of actors from the original New York production and from the play's Bermuda premier, for a reading of Steven Carl McCasland's play Little Wars. The 12:30pm reading will take place in the shop's downstairs Arthur Seelen Theatre. It will be followed by a signing with the playwright.

Star-Studded Concert Benefits The Drama Book Shop Tonight at Feinstein's/54 Below

The legendary shop has been much-talked about lately, after Lin-Manuel Miranda (of Hamilton fame) launched an internet campaign to bring sales into the flooded shop. And now, tonight, March 26th, stars of stage and shop employees will gather for a night of stories and songs to celebrate and benefit the legendary Drama Book Shop at Feinstein's/54 Below. The 7pm concert will feature many of the all-star Broadway talent who frequent the shop on a daily basis.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. Tony Award-nominees Penny Fuller (Applause, A New Brain, Dividing The Estate) and Sally Mayes (Closer Than Ever, She Loves Me) have joined the starry line-up for a Feinstein's/54Below's benefit concert for The Drama Book Shop. Also joining the roster is Ali Stroker, who recently made her debut in Deaf West's revival of Spring Awakening, and composer Nancy Ford (I'm Getting My Act Together...).

Drama Book Shop to Host New Steven Carl McCasland Play Reading, 11/16

The Drama Book Shop will present a reading of a new play by Steven Carl McCasland on Monday, November 16th at 1:30pm. The reading is free to the public but advanced reservations encouraged. They may be made by e-mailing bookshopreadings@gmail.com.

Jasmine Saunise completes casting for the upcoming reading of Steven Carl McCasland's new play Memorare. The reading, which is open to the public, will take place at the Arthur Seelen Theatre (located at the Tony Award-winning Drama Bookshop) tonight, July 15th at 7:00pm. The reading is free to the public.

A limited New York audience will soon be able to attend the first reading of Steven Carl McCasland's new play MEMORARE. The reading, which is open to the public, will take place at the Arthur Seelen Theatre (located at the Tony Award-winning Drama Bookshop) on Wednesday, July 15th at 7:00pm. The reading is free to the public.

Five plays by Steven Carl McCasland will be presented in repertory during a month-long celebration of the young playwright. Each play focuses on a different character from history, with a cast of 25 portraying such historical figures as Laurette Taylor, Rose Kennedy, Tennessee Williams, Agatha Christie, Joseph Goebbels, Gertrude Stein, Lillian Hellman and John F. Kennedy. Performances begin May 7, 2015. BroadwayWorld has a sneak peek at the cast in rehearsal below!
