International Young Patrons Gala Returns in June

The International Young Patrons Gala returns on 4 June with a new theme: Dear Future. Attendees will be able to enjoy a unique experience in the foyer as well as our 'surprise programme' in the theatre. The programme also provides plenty of scope for young and upcoming talent, showcasing both the Dutch National Opera Studio and Dutch National Ballet's Junior Company.

PUP Shares New Single 'Totally Fine'

Following the previously released “Waiting,” “Robot Writes A Love Song, and “Matilda,” PUP shares one last single before the entire album drops next week. Accompanied by a Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux directed video, “Totally Fine” is a hilariously self-lacerating track with an undeniable chorus that offers plenty of opportunities to open up the pit.

Citadel Theatre Company's 20th season will close with PICASSO AT THE LAPIN AGILE, Steve Martin's comedy that imagines a meeting between a 23-year-old Pablo Picasso and a 25-year-old Albert Einstein at a real-life artists' hangout in Paris at the dawn of the 20th Century.

Society For The Performing Arts Presents Yotam Ottolenghi

Society for the Performing Arts presents restauranteur, author and chef Yotam Ottolenghi, on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 7:30 PM at the Wortham Center's Cullen Theater. The evening will be moderated by James Beard Award-winning Houston chef Chris Shepherd and a portion of each ticket sold will be donated to Southern Smoke. Southern Smoke is a crisis relief organization for people in the food and beverage industry. Houston independent bookseller Brazos Books will be on hand, selling pre-signed books by Yotam Ottolenghi and Chris Shepherd.

The Coterie Theatre to Stage PETE THE CAT

This spring, The Coterie returns to indoor performances with the charming family musical, Pete the Cat, based on the best-selling book series by Kimberly and James Dean. Transforming the fabulous blue feline from the book to the stage, Pete the Cat brings the ever-adventurous but always mellow, Pete, to life on stage with toe-tapping, pop-inspired tunes featuring book & lyrics by Sarah Hammond and music by Will Aronson. Directed by Heidi Van with musical direction by Anthony T. Edwards and choreography by Marc Wayne, Pete the Cat will be performed live on The Coterie’s mainstage located in Crown Center, April 1-May 22, 2022.
