Women's Project, the 33-year-old non-profit theater dedicated to producing plays written and directed by women, announced at its annual meeting Tuesday night (11/16) that it will present the premiere of Lynn Rosen's comedy, Apple Cove, directed by Giovanna Sardelli and starring Cassie Beck, Paul Carlin, Erin Gann, Allison Mack and Dion Mucciacito.

Previews begin Monday, January 31st at 8pm, for the LCT3 production of WHEN I COME TO DIE, a new play by Nathan Louis Jackson, directed by Thomas Kail. The second of LCT3's three productions during the 2010-2011 season. LCT3 is Lincoln Center Theater's programming initiative devoted to producing the work of new artists and developing new audiences. WHEN I COME TO DIE is the second of three LCT3 productions during its 2010-2011 season. Opening night is Thursday, February 10 at 6:45 pm at The Duke on 42nd Street, a NEW 42ND STREET® project, (229 W. 42 Street).

FACT Theatre Company and Joria Productions presents EEK, A MOUSICAL - a 21st century update based on the Aesop fable 'The Town Mouse & The Country Mouse' at Joria Mainstage from January 27th through February 5th. Following the sold out performances and overflow crowds at its first four Cino Nights presentations, Rising Phoenix Rep continued the series with a packed house on January 23rd with Kristen Palmer's THE STRAY DOG, described as 'a play obsessed with the great Russian poet Anna Akhmatova and dedicated to any who dare endure in the folly and the imperative that is art. Songs will be sung. Poems read. Dreams dashed. Vodka drunk. These are dangerous times.'
