While America is celebrating Thanksgiving Day, Canadians are celebrating the announcement of Alberta's Country Thunder 2019 headliners. Canadian Music Hall of Fame member Terri Clark, once again, did the honors with our friends at Entertainment Tonight Canada in revealing the star-studded roster of talent set to perform at next year's festival.

Chris Stapleton reveled in a celebratory night in Nashville as he took home three wins at "The 52nd Annual CMA Awards," while Keith Urban warmed hearts with his gracious acceptance of the coveted Entertainer of the Year trophy. Country Music's Biggest Night was hosted for the 11th consecutive year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood and aired live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 14 on the ABC Television Network.

Winners in the Musical Event of the Year and Music Video of the Year categories for "The 52nd Annual CMA Awards" were revealed live on 'Good Morning America' this morning. See the big reveal below! Kenny Chesney and David Lee Murphy won Musical Event of the Year for "Everything's Gonna Be Alright." Music Video of the Year went to Thomas Rhett and director TK McKamy for "Marry Me." "Good Morning America's" Lara Spencer has also been added as a presenter for Country Music's Biggest Night, hosted for the 11th consecutive year by Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood, and airing live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville tonight at 8:00 PM/ET (7:00 PM/CT) on the ABC Television Network.

Eric Church has just been added as a performer on “The 52nd Annual CMA Awards,” broadcasting live from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville Wednesday, Nov. 14 at 8:00 PM/ET (7:00 PM/CT) on the ABC Television Network. Church is a 25-time CMA Awards nominee and three-time winner, having won Album of the Year in both 2012 and 2016 as well as Musical Event of the Year in 2015. Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood return for the 11th consecutive year to host the CMA Awards.

“The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” has equaled its highest adult 18-49 rating since premiere week to grab the late-night week of Oct. 29-Nov. 2 in that key demographic over “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” according to “live plus same day” figures from Nielsen Media Research.

CMT today revealed an all-star tribute to country legend and 2018 “Artist of a Lifetime” Award recipient, Loretta Lynn, featuring Sheryl Crow, Dierks Bentley and Martina McBride. The trio will perform LIVE from Nashville at the 9th annual “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” special on Wednesday, October 17 at 8:00pm ET/PT. Some of music's biggest stars are set to present at the event, including Sheryl Crow, Keith Urban, Smokey Robinson, singer-songwriter Elle King, Hillary Scott, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood, along with a special introduction by platinum-selling artist, Trisha Yearwood. They all join previously announced presenter Sissy Spacek.

To continue this year's celebration of women, CMT has added seven new powerhouse performances to the “2018 CMT Artists of the Year” lineup: Carrie Underwood with CMT Next Women of Country and tour mates Maddie & Tae and Runaway June; Miranda Lambert and Pistol Annies; Kelsea Ballerini with Alison Krauss; Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman with soul legend Gladys Knight; and Hillary Scott with singer-songwriter Tori Kelly and Grammy-award winning gospel artist Kirk Franklin. In addition, honoree Maren Morris will join forces with Brandi Carlile for a powerful tribute to late icon Aretha Franklin. Seven-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year MIRANDA LAMBERT has added six multi-Platinum certifications to her repertoire, as albums REVOLUTION and CRAZY EX-GIRLFRIEND have been certified double-Platinum by the RIAA, along with singles “The House That Built Me” (3X Platinum), “Mama's Broken Heart” (3X Platinum), “Over You” (2X Platinum), and “Automatic” (2X Platinum).

The fourth annual  Maui Songwriters Festival presented by BMI, happening November 29th- December 1st, combines the lush landscapes and local flavor of Maui with the international acclaim of music's best songwriters. Hosted by Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, this one-of-a-kind festival puts a spotlight on the art of songwriting with intimate sets from an all-star line-up. Country music superstar Miranda Lambert will be headlining the festival along with a  special performance with her supergroup, the Pistol Annies. Known for her energetic stage shows and pioneering presence as a female artist, the one-and-only Wanda Jackson - popularly known as the Queen of Rockabilly and the First Lady of Rock & Roll - has returned to Nashville to work on new music. Fellow female Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame member, Joan Jett, is producing the project. The as-yet-unnamed project is currently anticipated for a 2019 release. After decades of recording covers, Jackson hit the writing room for this project, co-writing with many hit Nashville songwriters including Angaleena Presley of the Pistol Annies. 'Ex's and Oh's' singer Elle King also contributed a song to the project.

One of music's most enduring and beloved recording artists will be returning to a familiar stage this weekend, as Wanda Jackson makes a rare appearance on the Grand Ole Opry this Saturday, June 17.
