The Broadway at Birdland concert series is happy to announce that songwriters Michael Kooman and Chris Dimond, who won the 2010 Jonathan Larson Grant, will be presenting 'Out Of Our Heads: The Music of Kooman & Dimond' on Monday, July 18 at 7pm.

Vassar & New York Stage and Film announce the award-winning casts of its three Martel Musicals: The Nightingale by Steven Sater & Duncan Sheik, directed by Moisés Kaufman (7/8-10); February House by Gabriel Kahane & Seth Bockley, directed by Davis McCallum (7/14-16); and Piece of My Heart by Bert Berns, Daniel Goldfarb, Brett & Cassandra Berns, directed by Leigh Silverman (7/29-31). New York Stage and Film (Johanna Pfaelzer, Artistic Director; Mark Linn-Baker, Max Mayer, Leslie Urdang, Producing Directors) and Vassar College (Ed Cheetham, Producing Director) have announced the full line-up of their 2011 Powerhouse Theater season, now entering its 27th year. The result of a unique collaboration between New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, the program consists of an eight-week residency on the Vassar campus (124 Raymond Avenue, Poughkeepsie, NY) during which more than 200 professional artists and some 40 apprentices live and work together to create new theater works. The 2011 Main Stage season kicks off with Patricia Wettig's F2M (June 29 - July 10).

Some of Broadway's most celebrate talent lent their voices to the THE BROADWAY DREAMS FOUNDATION'S Second Annual Holiday Benefit Concert at New World Stages last night, November 22. The evening of entertainment benefits the national non-profit organization that brings young talent closer to their Broadway Dreams though intensive week-long Broadway training programs across the country. Broadway's best will celebrate the holidays in THE BROADWAY DREAMS FOUNDATION'S Second Annual Holiday Benefit Concert at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) on Monday, November 22, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.

Next Monday, November 8, 2010 at 10pm, a cast of Broadway performers will gather at Joe's Pub to sing songs from '29,' a pop-rock song cycle with music and lyrics by award-winning composer Gaby Alter and book and additional lyrics by Tommy Newman.

Many of everyone's Broadway and off-Broadway favorites, including Michael Urie, Wesley Taylor, Jennifer Damiano, Karen Olivo, Mitchell Jarvis and more have teamed up on the webisode project Billy Green.

A Dog's Tale (or The Thing About Getting), a new play by playwright Paul Downs Colaizzo, will be featured in the Kennedy Center's Page-to- Stage festival this September.
