The 2019 New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks, Presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer, will return for the 54th season with free outdoor concerts conducted by Music Director Jaap van Zweden - his first time leading the Orchestra in the historic series - at Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx (June 11); the Great Lawn in Central Park, Manhattan (June 12); Cunningham Park, Queens (June 13); and Prospect Park, Brooklyn (June 14).
Hanover Wind Symphony Comes to The Bickford Theatre, 2/10

The Hanover Wind Symphony will perform a special concert entitled And the Trumpets Shall Sound at the Morris Museum on Sunday, February 10 at 2:00PM. The concert will feature the Hanover Wind Symphony's trumpet section, and guest soloist, Michael R. Baker. The concert is being held in conjunction with the museum's exhibition, Trumpets, Weird and Wonderful: Treasures from the National Music Museum, which is on view through Sunday, March 17, 2019.

The New Art Dealers Alliance (NADA) and Artadia are pleased to announce a collaborative group exhibition at NADA Miami 2018, which will celebrate past NADA Artadia Award recipients. Since 2012, NADA and Artadia have partnered to present the NADA Artadia Award, a $5,000 unrestricted grant to an artist exhibiting at each fair, in New York and Miami, through a curator-driven jury process.

Over the past year NTI has worked in partnership with Atlantic Records award winning indie pop/rock artists 'Portugal. The Man' and guitarist Eric Howk to create awareness of the job services NTI provides for Americans with Disabilities and Disabled Veterans nationwide. Since one in every five Americans has a disability, Eric's message valuable to more than 60 million people across the nation. NTI honored that partnership with a special recognition on February 22 in Providence, RI while 'Portugal. The Man' was at The Strand for a sold-out performance. Howk has a special affinity for NTI and the services they provide for Americans with Disabilities, as he himself has been paralyzed from the sternum down since an accident in 2007. Howk has successfully learned how to keep up with the band's busy tour schedule and his disability has led him to notice and connect with fans who use wheelchairs or other assistive devices and give them encouragement and support.

The New York Philharmonic has launched the podcast Listening Through Time, an intimate conversation about how performances have evolved from one generation of Philharmonic players to the next. In each episode, a Philharmonic musician (current or retired) joins Philharmonic Archivist / Historian Barbara Haws in listening to and comparing the Orchestra's perfor mances from different eras.
