The Music Division of the Library of Congress will present the 1934 Harold Arlen/Ira Gershwin/Yip Harburg musical revue 'Life Begins at 8:40' in concert, its first live performance in 75 years, in the Library's Coolidge Auditorium at 10 First St., S.E., Washington, D.C., on Monday, March 22, 2010, at 8 p.m. Aaron Gandy will conduct the cast of 25 and the 24-piece orchestra.

PS Classics and Nonesuch will partner is set to release the new Broadway cast album of Stephen Sondheim's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC. The cast, led by Catherine Zeta-Jones and Angela Lansbury, will head into the studio January 4. No release date for the disc has been announced.

To celebrate the CD release, Finian's Rainbow stars Kate Baldwin, Cheyenne Jackson, Christopher Fitzgerald, Jim Norton, Brian Reddy, Terri White and Guy Davis hosted a CD signing for fans. Producer Chase Mishkin said ?I?m thrilled that the wonderful Will Chase and Malcolm Gets will go into the studio to preserve this score as only they can. I hope this gives audiences in the US and around the world a chance to discover a fresh writing team in Neil Bartram and Brian Hill?. Tommy Krasker, co-founder of PS Classics and producer of the recording, anticipates a June 2nd release.

Actress and comedienne Jackie Hoffman announced the upcoming release of JACKIE HOFFMAN: LIVE AT JOE'S PUB, a live recording of her best original savage songs and monologues. PS Classics will release the album on Tuesday, November 11, 2008. The album was recorded live onstage at Joe's Pub, New York's famed, downtown performance space.
