As State Fairs take place around the country, Stages St. Louis concludes its 24th season with Rodgers and Hammerstein's Tony Award-winning Broadway musical STATE FAIR at The Robert G. Reim Theatre in Kirkwood from September 3 - October 3, 2010.

The sixties are back! Beckie Menzie & Tom Michael celebrate the 50th anniversary of the decade that forever revolutionized popular music. From the idyllic early Motown sound and British invasion to the free love and angst of Woodstock, 'That 60's Show' will feature songs by many of the decades favorite performers including The Beatles, The Supremes, The Everly Brothers, Elvis Presley, Petula Clark, Janis Joplin and many more, all done in Menzie & Michael's unique award-winning style at The Metropolitan Room.

Yesterday evening, August 23, the Times Talk hosted a Q&A and discussion with the ANYTHING GOES team, two-time Tony Award-winning director Kathleen Marshall and Tony-winning star Sutton Foster at The Times Center. Next Spring, Roundabout Theatre Company will present a new Broadway production of ANYTHING GOES, starring Foster as 'Reno Sweeney.' Directed & choreographed by Marshall, ANYTHING GOES will begin performances March 10th, 2011 and officially open on April 7th, 2011 on Broadway at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre.

Share an intimate evening downtown with Petula Clark at the Tarrytown Music Hall on September 24th. The most commercially success female singer in British chart history, Clark embarked on her career at the tender age of 7 and first tasted the limelight during World War II when she entertained the troops. By the time she was 11 she was a fixture on British television and was dubbed 'The British Shirley Temple'.

The UK Daily Mail reports that Michael Ball will soon see theatre from a different angle. Ball has decided to assume the role of producer for the first time with LOVE STORY, a musical adaptation of the Erich Segal novel. His investment is estimated to be close to £250,000.

The retrospective music celebration of the 60s, Beehive, The 60s Musical (created by Larry Gallagher) will extend again at the Keating Theatre and will now play through July 11, 2010. Music from Petula Clark to Connie Francis and Tina Turner to Janis Joplin, Beehive, The 60s Musical is a hit with Sarasota audiences.
