Following a sold-out run at the Almeida Theatre, Olivier Award-winning director Robert Icke's new production of Hamlet is now playing at the Harold Pinter Theatre in London's West End in a limited season until 2 September.

Following a sold-out Almeida run, Robert Icke's thoughtfully contemporary take on Shakespeare hits the West End, with its original cast mainly intact (Derbhle Crotty succeeds Juliet Stevenson as Gertrude on 4 July). The big draw, of course, is the superb Andrew Scott in the title role, but Icke's production is just as considered in every supporting part, resulting in a wonderfully rich experience.

The Daily Mail reports that Victoria Hamilton is the latest actress to join the Netflix series THE CROWN, based on Peter Morgan's THE AUDIENCE. She will play Queen Elizabeth -- the Queen Mother -- in the TV adaptation, helmed by Stephen Daldry. Queen Elizabeth died in 2002 at the age of 101.

Depicting two embracing lovers in silhouette astride suitcases packed and ready for travel, the mostly sepia-hued, monochrome image expertly depicts the romantic allure of the oft-performed canonical comic trifle.

Mark Rylance directs James Earl Jones and Vanessa Redgrave in Shakespeare's timeless comedy Much Ado About Nothing opening on 19 September 2013 with previews from 7 September. Further cast includes Tim Barlow, Penelope Beaumont, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Katherine Carlton, Beth Cooke, Alan David, Michael Elwyn, Lloyd Everitt, James Garnon, Melody Grove, Trevor Laird, Leroy Osei-Bonsu, Mark Ross, Peter Wight and Danny Lee Wynter.

Donmar Warehouse presents TRELAWNY OF THE WELLS by Arthur Wing Pinero, running from tonight, 15 February to 13 April 2013.

Patrick Marber is to continue his long-standing relationship with the Donmar Warehouse by making some most respectful additions and ornamentation to Arthur Wing Pinero's Comedietta, Trelawny of the Wells. The production will be directed by Joe Wright.

Martin Crimp returned to the Royal Court with his new work, 'Republic Of Happiness' which Dominic Cooke directs in the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs. Described as a "violent satire", the production opened on December 6 and features Anna Calder-Marshall, Emma Fielding, Seline Hizli, Ellie Kendrick, Stuart McQuarrie, Paul Ready, Michelle Terry, and Peter Wight.

Donmar Warehouse announces full casting for their production of TRELAWNY OF THE WELLS by Arthur Wing Pinero, which runs from 15 February to 13 April 2013. Press night is Tuesday 26 February 2013.
