ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE/LA announces a new opening date for the world premiere of DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW WHAT A PANCREAS IS?, written by Carole Real and directed by Jenny O'Hara. DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW WHAT A PANCREAS IS? will now preview on Tuesday, November 13 and will open on Wednesday November 14 at Atwater Village Theatre, 3269 Casitas Ave. in Los Angeles, 90039. THE FISHERMAN'S WIFE will be extending and will now run through Thursday, December 13.

ENSEMBLE STUDIO THEATRE/LA is introducing a new performance space: "The Speakeasy." Located at their Atwater Village Theatre home, "The Speakeasy" will open with two world premiere comedies about relationships: the rolling world premiere of THE FISHERMAN'S WIFE, written by Steve Yockey and directed by Gates McFadden, which was originally produced in 2012 by Impact Theatre in Berkeley with EST/LA and the world premiere of DOESN'T ANYONE KNOW WHAT A PANCREAS IS?, written by Carole Real and directed by Jenny O'Hara. The Broadway revival of Arthur Miller's DEATH OF A SALESMAN, starring Academy Award-winner Philip Seyour Hoffman as Willy Loman, ends its limited run at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre with its 8 p.m. performance tonight, June 2.

After breaking the house record at the Barrymore Theatre six times during its run with a seven-performance-a-week schedule, Arthur Miller's DEATH OF A SALESMAN will recoup its $3.1 million capitalization this week. The critically acclaimed limited engagement opened March 15. Despite the show's success, there will no extension.

In 1976, Coal Miner's Daughter, country star Loretta Lynn's autobiography (written with journalist George Vecsey) became a New York Times Bestseller; in 1980 the book was made into an Academy Award-winning film starring Sissy Spacek and Tommy Lee Jones. Now, it's headed for Broadway, with actress Zooey Deschanel playing Loretta Lynn.

THE ODD LIVE OF TIMOTHY GREEN is coming to theaters on August 15, 2012 from Walt Disney Pictures. The comedy drama is written and directed by Peter Hedges and stars Jennifer Garner, Joel Edgerton, CJ Adams and Ron Livingston.

Hugh Jackman will return to Broadway during the 2013/2014 season starring as America's greatest showman in HOUDINI, an original musical. Making his Broadway debut as librettist, Academy Award and six-time Emmy Award winner Aaron Sorkin will collaborate with three-time Academy Award and four-time Grammy Award winner Stephen Schwartz. Directed by three-time Tony Award winner Jack O'Brien, HOUDINI is presented by film and theatre producer Scott Sanders and David Rockwell. Mr. Rockwell will also design the sets for HOUDINI.
