I first met Noah Racey when I was directing the 2004 Nightlife Awards at Town Hall in New York. He was performing with his co-star from Never Gonna Dance, Nancy Lemenager. If you've never seen him dance, you haven't lived. I got to chat a bit about his stay down here in DC.

The Puppini Sisters to Play Second Bay Area Cabaret Show

In addition, at 2 pm on Saturday, April 16 at the Fairmont's Laurel Court Restaurant, Bay Area Cabaret will host a High Tea/High Fashion event celebrating the panache and style that defines The Puppini Sisters. Vintage attire is encouraged for this event, which will provide an opportunity to welcome the singers to town, hear them sing an a cappella number and see an array of fashions by local vintage fashion enthusiasts.  Reservations for the afternoon tea - $75 ($40 tax deductible) may be made at www.bayareacabaret.org.

Peter Gallagher Joins PLAYING ON AIR Benefit This Month at BRIC

Public radio show and podcast PLAYING ON AIR, which features live recordings of short American plays, returns to BRIC House (647 Fulton Street in Downtown Brooklyn) on December 7 at 7:30pm with three shorts by David Auburn, Max Baker and Jessica Dickey, all recorded live.
