On May 28, 2021 Vocal Arts DC in collaboration with Avie Records will release The Journey Home: Live from the Kennedy Center. Inspired by the 100th anniversary of the end of WWI, the concert, which sold-out at the time, explores timeless themes of longing, loss, love, and the search for peace in the wake of catastrophe.

Building on the success of the 2020 Day of Musical Action last June, Kaufman Music Center will hold a Week of Musical Action from March 14-18, 2021. More than 140 performers from the KMC community will come together during this multi-day music marathon to share music and support our programs. The event provides students, parents, faculty, staff and donors with the opportunity to raise funds to support KMC’s programs while also fostering a sense of community engagement.

The Peoria Symphony Orchestra has announced a reimagined 123rd Season!  The September, October, and November concerts will be recorded and broadcast on WTVPa??s Create channel on the originally scheduled concert dates. The concerts will be recorded at Grace Presbyterian Church with small and socially distanced orchestras and no live audience.

Sing for Hope will present a free, live-streamed Memorial Day Weekend recital featuring 2020 GRAMMY winner John Brancy and acclaimed pianist Peter Dugan, host of NPR's “From the Top.” The special 30-minute program, scheduled for Saturday, May 23rd, at 8 PM ET and streamed live at facebook.com/sing4hope, will feature selections from Brancy and Dugan's upcoming album “The Journey Home,” which commemorates in song the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I.

Rite of Summer Music Festival's 2020 Season has been postponed to Summer 2021 as a result of COVID-19 precautions and Federal, State, and Local guidelines. Due to mark its 10th Anniversary this summer on Governors Island, Rite of Summer Music Festival will celebrate this milestone with special extended festivities next year. From the Top, the nationally-distributed NPR program heard throughout the Los Angeles region on KUSC (FM 91.5), brings its next live recording event to the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at 7:30 PM, featuring newly announced host Peter Dugan and co-host Vijay Gupta. Dugan and Gupta will interview and perform with each of the exceptional young artists, ages 10 - 18, showcasing not just their inspiring talent, but also giving insight into the lives of these young, aspirational artists. The event, presented in conjunction with GRoW @ The Wallis, the umbrella for a robust mix of education and outreach programs at The Wallis, is open to the public and tickets are now available.
