EAG will be taking a peek Behind the Curtain with downtown theater-maker Ralph Lewis of Peculiar Works Project for a unique look at New York City's earliest theaters.

Writer/performer Kate Robards (Ain't That Rich) returns to The Marsh San Francisco with her latest hit PolySHAMory. Kate has everything she's ever dreamed of...but so does Kate's husband's girlfriend. With a polyamory therapist and sex-positive ethos, Kate begins a polyamorous marriage that goes wrong. A story of his and her. And hers. And his. And sex. And therapy. And love. The show, which was previewed as a Marsh Rising last year, has received accolades from media across the country, calling it 'hilarious and heartbreaking' (The Washington Post) and 'an audience-grabbing confessional' (DC Theatre Scene). The OBIE and New York Innovative Theatre Award-winning Peculiar Works Project, under the co-artistic direction of Ralph Lewis, Catherine Porter, and Barry Rowell, is pleased to announce Afterparty: The Rothko Studio, a site-specific immersive performance in and around the former studio of legendary painter Mark Rothko.

The Drama League has announced an inaugural event: First Stage Festival, where new works take their first steps, featuring 10 resident directors who will have 10 hours to focus and manifest a particular moment or element of 10 new works, giving a glimpse into the future of the American Theater.

The Secret Variety Society have announced another edition of their variety show featuring the comedian Matt Roper, singer-songwriter Sabrina Chap, stand-up magician Magic Brian and circus artist Miss Ekaterina at the Slipper Room the house of varieties on the Lower East Side this Wednesday, 25th October at 8pm.

Peculiar Works Project and Fraunces Tavern Museum announce their unique collaboration for the World Premiere of 'Androboros: Villain of the State,' America's first published play written in 1714 by Robert Hunter and adapted for today by S.M. Dale.

Peculiar Works Project is bringing its critically acclaimed work FLOYDADA to the 2017 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. This work, written by Barry Rowell, will run September 13-16 at 7:30 p.m. at The MAAS Building's Fifth Side.

Peculiar Works Project is thrilled to announce the unique location for their October, site-specific production of Androboros by Robert Hunter. The landmark Fraunces Tavern® Museum on Pearl and Broad Streets will host this world premiere of America's first published play.

Peculiar Works Project is bringing its critically acclaimed work FLOYDADA to the 2017 Philadelphia Fringe Festival. Flux Theatre Ensemble will present the New York City premiere of World Builders by Johnna Adams (Gidion's Knot, Sans Merci, The Angel Eaters Trilogy) April 28 - May 13 at the West End Theatre (263 W 86th St, New York, NY 10024).
