American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) continues its 2010-11 season with the West Coast premiere of Marcus; or The Secret of Sweet, directed by A.C.T. Associate Artistic Director Mark Rucker (A.C.T.'s The Rainmaker and the award-winning film Die, Mommy, Die!).

Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company kicks off its 31st season with the 2010 Tony-nominee and Pulitzer Prize-finalist, In the Next Room or the vibrator play, written by Sarah Ruhl, directed by DC-favorite Aaron Posner. The show runs August 23 - September 19; Wednesdays - Saturdays at 8pm, Saturdays and Sundays at 3pm.

Piven Theatre Workshop extends its 2009-10 season with the Chicago premiere of Sarah Ruhl's adaptation of Chekov's Three Sisters, directed by Artistic Director Emeritus Joyce Piven. The production will run October 16 - November 21, 2010 at Piven Theatre Workshop, 927 Noyes Street
