Playwrights' Center Reveals 2016-17 Jerome, Many Voices Fellows

The Playwrights' Center and Jerome Foundation are pleased to announce the 2016-17 Jerome Fellows, Many Voices Fellows and Many Voices Mentees. The Jerome Fellowship for emerging playwrights is the Jerome Foundation's longest-awarded program, entering its 40th year. The Many Voices Fellowship was created in 1994 in partnership with the Jerome Foundation and significantly expanded in 2013.
JTS Professor Curates Yiddish Theater Exhibition at Museum of the City of New York

The Museum of the City of New York mounted an exhibition titled New York's Yiddish Theater: From the Bowery to Broadway in March 2016. It is curated by Dr. Edna Nahshon, professor of Theater and Drama at The Jewish Theological Seminary (JTS) and author of a book that shares the exhibition's title, published by Columbia University Press. The exhibition will be on view through July 31, 2016.

The Huntington Theatre Company presents the world premiere of CAN YOU FORGIVE HER? by two-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Gina Gionfriddo (Becky Shaw and Rapture, Blister, Burn) and directed by Huntington Artistic Director Peter DuBois (A Little Night Music and Smart People). Performances begin Friday, March 25 and continue through April 24, 2016 at the South End / Calderwood Pavilion at the BCA.

Boulder-based companies square product theatre and Hoarded Stuff Performance, two groups known for creating inventive, off-the-wall original performance work, are joining forces for 'This Aunt is Not a Cockroach.' The collaborative, World Premiere production will enjoy a limited run at the Wesley Chapel in Boulder, April 28 - May 7th.

Two Muses Theatre had to relocate in December 2015, following the closing of its original home inside the West Bloomfield Barnes & Noble.
