Today Arion Productions celebrates the 1st birthday of The Show People Podcast by releasing their 30th episode of their highly successful theatre podcast with special guest - performer and entrepreneur Scott Garnham.
Heathers the Musical will welcome Nathan Amzi (Aladdin, In The Heights, Rock of Ages, The Voice UK) to Westerberg High for the first time at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. Nathan will be joining Carrie Hope Fletcher in the smash-hit musical until the end of the semester on 24 November.

Paul Taylor-Mills has recently stepped down as the Artistic Director of The Other Palace, though he will continue working there in the role of Affiliate Producer while also pursuing his own independent projects. He has many producing credits to his name already, including the popular In the Heights at the Southwark Playhouse and King's Cross Theatre and Heathers currently on at The Other Palace which will transfer to the Theatre Royal Haymarket in September.
We recently caught up with Lauren Ward and Nathan Amzi while on a break from rehearsals for Prom Queen, a new musical based on the true story of Canadian teen Marc Hall who took his Catholic school board to court when they wouldn't let him attend prom with his boyfriend. The show will receive a workshop presentation at The Other Palace on 2 July.
Baz Bamigboye of The Daily Mail has reported that Prom Queen: The Musical, the story of a landmark win for gay rights, will receive a public UK workshop this fall at Andrew Lloyd Webber's Other Palace Theatre.

Paul Taylor Mills, previously Artistic Director, will take on a new role as Affiliate Producer at The Other Palace. His first production in this new role will be "Heathers The Musical" which transfers to the Main House after workshop presentations in The Studio.

Frances Ruffelle is perhaps best known for originating the role of Eponine in Les Miserables. As Michael John LaChiusa's The Wild Party will receive its first major London production at The Other Palace, playing from Saturday 11 February to Saturday 1 April 2017, with a press night on Monday 20 February. Directed and choreographed by 2016 Olivier Award winner Drew McOnie and starring Tony Award winner Frances Ruffelle, The Wild Party will be the inaugural production at The Other Palace, formerly St. James Theatre, when it reopens in February 2017 as the newest addition to The Really Useful Theatres Group and a home for new musical theatre.
First casting is announced today for Broadway musical Side Show, which receives its UK premiere at Southwark Playhouse. Louise Dearman and Laura Pitt-Pulford will play conjoined twins Daisy and Violet Hilton in the brand new production, which runs October 21 to December 3, with a press night on October 26.
