Sunscreen Film Festival -- the longest running mainstream film festival in Tampa Bay -- has announced celebrity guest appearances by Gary Busey and Paul Sorvino, with other notable film MAKERS and directors from Lionsgate and other major entertainment companies expected during the 2016 Festival.

42nd Street Moon concludes its 23rd season with Frank Loesser's glorious Napa Valley romance, the Tony Award-winning THE MOST HAPPY FELLA. This masterpiece with book, music and lyrics by Frank Loesser (Guys and Dolls, How to Succeed in Business …, Where's Charley?) is an unconventional and sweepingly romantic love story set in the vineyards of Napa Valley. Considered one of Loesser's greatest works, the stunning score includes "The Most Happy Fella," "Standing on the Corner," "Joey, Joey, Joey," "Rosabella," "Big D," "My Heart Is So Full of You" and "Song of a Summer Night." Director Tony Randel has a sure eye for comic effect and gives free rein to his ensemble to mug it up for the camera in Tony Schweikle's campy and rib-tickling HYBRIDS, to be screened at the 22nd Annual Sedona International Film Festival.

Elliott Gould, the versatile actor known for his roles in the movie M*A*S*H, his Oscar-nominated performance in Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice, will receive the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award at the 22nd annual Sedona International Film Festival.

The news was just released that Frank D'Angelo's feature film Sicilian Vampire will have its theatrical release in Canada and USA at the end of February, with Europe soon to follow.

The Gold Coast Arts Center's honorees this year were, Vince Giordano, Artist of Distinction - Music, Actor Navid Negahban, Artist of Distinction, Film, and Director Patricia Riggen, Director, Woman of Influence Award.  The evening's presenters were Will Friedwald, author & music editor, Michael Cuesta, Screenwriter, director of Showtime's "Homeland" and Lou Diamond Phillips, Actor Director and the star of the upcoming fiom "The 33" The Gala Emcee was Award winning WABC correspondent Kristin Thorne.  Regina Keller Gil is founder & executive director of The Gold Coast Arts Center and Caroline Sorokoff is an associate director of the Gold Coast Arts Center and Director of the Gold Coast International Film Festival.  The festival will run November 9-15th.

The Long Beach International Film Festival (LBIFF) will be celebrating its 4th Anniversary as they bring a fresh line up of exciting films from around the world to Long Island. Taking place this weekend, September 24-27th primarily in the City of Long Beach, NY the event will once again branch off into Rockville Centre as well.

One of Stephen Schwartz's failures The Baker's Wife, which toured extensively across the US in 1976 but never made it to Broadway, had a cast recording with Patti LuPone, Paul Sorvino and Teri Ralston and has had a few revivals including the UK. Why did it bomb? It's a simple, sweet show with a lovely message about human connection and a few pretty ballads, especially the hit 'Meadowlark', but there's a spark missing, nothing really exciting to get people into the seats; it's most definitely not commercial enough for Broadway. Based on the 1938 French film La Femme du Boulanger, that may be the main reason that the show is rarely performed. Now onstage at Actors co-op, Baker's Wife is mounted scrumptiously with terrific direction from Richard Israel and a superlatively cast ensemble.

The musical-horror film ALLELUIA! THE DEVIL'S CARNIVAL, directed by Darren Lynn Bousman (SAW II) and starring David Hasselhoff, Emilie Autumn, Paul Sorvino, Adam Pascal, Ted Neeley, and Barry Bostwick, among many more, will kick off a traveling circus tour with its premiere in Los Angeles tonight, August 11th, before continuing in cities across the U.S. and Canada throughout the fall.
