Cherry Lane's Tongues Reading Series presents Pulp Verite by Crystal Skillman on Tuesday, September 12th at 2 PM. 

American Conservatory Theater (A.C.T.) Artistic Director Carey Perloff announced today the final four productions that will comprise the lineup of the company's 2017-18 subscription season. The 2017-18 season marks the 25th anniversary of Perloff's arrival at A.C.T.; the longtime artistic director recently announced she would depart following the 2017-18 season.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series recently welcomed singer/songwriter Jeremy Schonfeld, who hosted a 'Songwriter Circle' on the stage of the historic music room. Scroll down for photos!

Jeremy Schonfeld hosts and participates in Birdland's first ever SONGWRITER CIRCLE on March 13th. The evening features today's most talented writers and performers both on and off-Broadway, including award winning composer/lyricists Neil Berg, Paul Scott Goodman, and the songwriting team of Selda Sahin and Derek Gregor. Doors open at 5:00pm and the show begins at 7:00pm at Birdland Jazz Club (315 West 44th St).

The Araca Group and Rattlestick Playwrights Theater are proud to announce NEW SONGS NOW, an unplugged concert series of songs by ten innovative and dynamic songwriters whose work straddles the music and theater genres. Rutland Boughton's record-breaking 'music-drama' The Immortal Hour, plays at the Finborough Theatre for a limited nine performance run of Sunday and Monday evening and Tuesday matinee performances from Sunday, 10 August 2014-26 August 2014.

New York Stage and Film and Vassar College, this summer celebrating the 30th year of their Powerhouse Theater collaboration, previously announced that Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Kyra Sedgwick would lead the cast of Academy Award and Tony Award winner John Patrick Shanley's new play The Danish Widow, which premieres today, July 16, and continues through July 27, 2014 at Hallie Flanagan-Davis Powerhouse Theater at Vassar College. Shanley also directs the cast which also includes multitalented Broadway vets Craig Bierko and Matt McGrath, as well as stage and screen actress Annika Boras.
