Lincoln Center Theater's SATURN RETURNS Begins 10/16

Performances begin Thursday, October 16 for Lincoln Center Theater's production of SATURN RETURNS, a new play by Noah Haidle, directed by Nicholas Martin at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater. Opening night is Monday, November 10, 2008. The cast of four features Rosie Benton, Robert Eli, John McMartin and James Rebhorn.

Bonney Directs Weller's 'Beast' At NYTW 9/15, Marshall-Green Stars

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director William Russo have announced that Beast, written by Michael Weller and directed by Jo Bonney, will begin performances Friday, August 29 at 8pm, at NYTW, 79 East 4th Street, between Second Avenue and Bowery. Opening night is scheduled for Monday, September 15 at 7pm. The production will run through Sunday, October 12.

Rising Action Announces Season Of Plays

The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told is by Paul Rudnick who gave us Jeffrey, I Hate Hamlet and The New Century. The play originated with Rudnick pondering the anti-gay slogan, 'God Made Adam and Eve… not Adam and Steve.' So he wrote a play supposing that God made Adam and Steve and their lesbian counterparts, Jane and Mabel. Join the foursome as they go through the Garden of Eden, The Flood, and journey with them to present day where they meet Santa Claus and Rabbi Sharon.
