Formerly a project of the Ontological-Hysteric Theater, the Incubator Arts Project supports independent, experimental performing artists through a series of programs aimed at offering production opportunities and guidance with long-term growth and artistic sustainability. Jacob's Pillow kicks off Festival 2010 on June 19 with the Season Opening Gala, the world-renowned dance organization's biggest annual fundraising event. Jacob's Pillow announces today that Executive Director Ella Baff will soon present the fourth annual Jacob's Pillow Dance Award to Bill T. Jones, acclaimed choreographer, co-founder, and artistic director of Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company, Tony Award winner for Spring Awakening, and director of the current Broadway hit FELA! The Jacob's Pillow Dance Award honors outstanding visionary artists and carries a prize of $25,000, one of the largest cash awards in the dance industry, to be used by the choreographer to enhance their artistry in any way they choose.

Frances McDormand, Maura Tierney, and more will be joining the cast of Los Angeles based Redcat's production of NORTH ATLANTIC. Written by James Strah, the production will run February 10th through 21st and is directed by Elizabeth LeCompte. The cast will include McDormand, Ari Fliakos, Scott Shepherd, Kate Valk, Steve Cuiffo, Koosil-ja Hwang, Paul Lazar, Zachary Oberzan, Jenny Seastone-Stern and Tierney.

Soho Rep, the eleven-time OBIE Award-winning, Off-Broadway theatre company, kicks off its 2009-2010 season with the highly anticipated World Premiere of LEAR, the most ambitious and visually opulent work to date by the celebrated playwright/director Young Jean Lee. Previews begin January 7th, 2010 prior to an official press opening of January 14th at Soho Rep.

Soho Rep's Artistic Director Sarah Benson has announced that the company's world-premiere of the newest work from Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, LEAR, will have 5 performances added, extending it now through February 6 at Soho Rep (46 Walker St.) in Manhattan. The production began previews on January 7 and will open on January 14.
