First Award Noms of the Year! 2014-15 Outer Critics Circle Award Nominations Announced and SOMETHING ROTTEN! Leads the Pack!

The Outer Critics Circle, the organization of writers covering New York theatre for out-of-town newspapers, national publications and other media beyond Broadway announced the nominees this morning for the 2014-15 season. The first major Broadway/Off-Broadway award nominees of the New York theater season, the organization is celebrating its 64th season of bestowing awards of excellence in the field of theater. The Outer Critics Circle is an association with members affiliated with more than ninety newspapers, magazines, radio and television stations, Internet, and theatre publications in America and abroad.

After critically acclaimed and sold out engagements at the Royal Shakespeare Company's Swan Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon and at the Aldwych Theatre in London, the theatrical event WOLF HALL: PARTS 1 & 2 began performances on Broadway on Friday, March 20, 2015, at the Winter Garden Theatre. Opening day will be held on April 9, 2015. The production is directed by Olivier Award nominee Jeremy Herrin, who makes his New York City directing debut. Hilary Mantel Signs Books at Broadway's WOLF HALL: PARTS 1 & 2 This Month

Dame Hilary Mantel, the double Man Booker Prize winner for her acclaimed novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies, as well as the author of the Broadway production Wolf Hall: Parts 1 & 2, is thrilled to say she will be signing books at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway, between 50th and 51st Streets) prior to each performance and at intermission, April 1-10.

BRING UP THE BODIES/WOLF HALL Extend Until Oct 2014

Due to overwhelming success, Playful Productions and the Royal Shakespeare Company are thrilled to announce that Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies will extend by four weeks. The productions will now play at the Aldwych Theatre until 4 October 2014. Tickets for the extension go on public sale today.

On Saturday 17th May, Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies celebrated their opening night at the Aldwych Theatre, London WC2. The West End company includes Ben Miles as Cromwell, Nathaniel Parker as Henry VIII, Lydia Leonard as Anne Boleyn, Paul Jesson as Cardinal Wolsey and Lucy Briers as Katherine of Aragon.
