Today we are talking to one of Broadway's most remarkable breakout stars to have crossed over into Hollywood with an impressive film career following his superlative work in the Mike Nichols-directed HBO production of Tony Kushner's Pulitzer Prize-winning ANGELS IN AMERICA in 2002, the affable and incredibly talented Patrick Wilson. It was just announced this evening that 2011's INSIDIOUS will receive a sequel, with writer Leigh Whannell, director James Wan, and stars Rose Byrne and Patrick Wilson all to return. INSIDIOUS CHAPTER 2, distributed by FilmDistrict, is set for a theatrical release on August 30, 2013.

New York City Center celebrated the 20th Anniversary of its Tony Award-winning Encores! series on November 12 with a Gala Benefit starring Raul Esparza and Kelli O'Hara, and featuring performers who have starred in Encores!productions over the past two decades. FULLY COMMITTED is the first in a series of special celebrations during the Vineyard's 30th Anniversary Season, and the reading will benefit The Vineyard's productions and programs in 2012-2013.

New York City Center will celebrate the 20th Anniversary of its Tony Award-winning Encores! series tonight, November 12 with a Gala Benefit starring Raul Esparza and Kelli O'Hara, and featuring performers who have starred in Encores! productions over the past two decades.

Now, a cable network insider tells us exclusively that the film will instead be an HBO television production, with a budget in the neighborhood of $15 million dollars. There is no word yet on a timeline for the project, or if the announced starry cast are staying aboard the project.
