BWW Reviews: ArtsWest's JUDY'S SCARY LITTLE CHRISTMAS Is Fun but Not Quite Little

You know how those 'Saturday Night Live' skits are where it's a fantastic premise and really funny to start out but then they have no idea how to end it so it drones on and on. Well the current off-kilter holiday production out at ArtsWest is like that. Filled with gut busting laughs and wonderful musical numbers in Act One but then turns into something very different in Act Two and keeps going on and on and ends about four different times.

Camp Media Theatre Goes to 'Oz,' Starting 8/11

The final two-week session for Camp Media Theatre 2014 starts up August 11. It's OZ Camp, in which all songs performed by the campers will be gleaned from 'The Wizard of Oz', 'The Wiz', or 'Wicked'. Camp Media Theatre has had a record-breaking summer. 'We have had more campers this year than ever before,' said Executive Director Patrick Ward. 'As we head into our final two-week session for this year we are getting ready to follow the yellow brick road. We really appreciate the support of each family who has been involved.'

The evening featured the premier unveiling of the professional music theatre's new Cunningham baby grand piano. Resident music director Tom Fosnocht christened the piano as the supreme vocals of Broadway's Tony nominated actress Ann Crumb filled the main room of the home of Lee and Carol Thaler Roberts.
