Striped villains sneak about to the piano reel. The kooky Dr. Sedgwick plots her revenge for the Noble Peace prizes denied her. Lois Lane ponders life without her giant crush on the perfect man. And Superman gets a new and surprising weakness during a hilarious second act.

Magenta Giraffe Theatre Company of Detroit presents Saint Joan, by George Bernard Shaw, adapted and directed by Matthew Turner Shelton. The show runs from October 18-November 9, 2013. Planet Ant is excited to open its 2012-2013 season with Hamtown Races, a new work from Margaret Edwartowski (Harper Woods), author of last season's Snowbound and The Do Over. This original production will take audiences to the Al Ameer Cafe, a family business owned and operated by Lebanese immigrants that plays host to a colorful and diverse collection of characters, each representative of the varied and shifting cultures in Hamtramck.
