Directed by Pamela Berlin, Pittsburgh Public Theater presents an all-new production of Eugene O'Neill's timeless classic, A Moon for the Misbegotten. Berlin is a theater veteran who has staged plays across the country but is best known for directing the Off Broadway world premiere of Steel Magnolias and the Broadway production of The Cemetery Club.

The No Frills Company's acclaimed production of 'VITA & VIRGINIA', starring KATHLEEN CHALFANT (WIT, ANGELS IN AMERICA) and PATRICIA ELLIOTT (One Life to Live, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, THE SHADOW BOX) will end its limited engagement at The Zipper Factory Theater, 336 West 37th Street, on Monday, April 28, 2008 at 7 PM. Pamela Berlin directed the play Eileen Atkins adapted from the correspondence between writers Virginia Woolf and Vita Sackville-West.

Tony Award-winner Frances Sternhagen will substitute for Kathleen Chalfant in Vita and Virginia for two performances, March 17 and 31.

The Zipper Factory presents a wide-range of variety shows for in the theatre in March 2008, including The Wau Wau Sisters, Megan Mullally, Daphne Rubin-Vega, Joy Behar, 'Don't Quit Your Night Job' and 'Happy Sunshine Kung Fu Flower.'

The Zipper Factory (336 West 37th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues) will present the following performances in the theater in February 2008

Award-winning stage, screen and TV stars Kathleen Chalfant and Patricia Elliott will co-star in Vita & Virginia for 12 Monday nights at 7 PM at the Zipper Factory Theater beginning February 11 and continuing through April 28, 2008.

Society of Stage Directors and Choreographers (SSDC) announces that Karen Azenberg was elected President of SSDC and Larry Carpenter as Executive Vice President on November 19, 2007.

The Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation will present director Daniel Sullivan with the 2007 'Mr. Abbott' Award for Lifetime Achievement in the American Theatre on Monday, March 26 at a cocktail reception in the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse at Lincoln Center Plaza.

The No Frills Company will kick off its new Monday night reading series at the Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce Street) with Caryl Churchill's Top Girls on October 30 and November 6 at 8PM
