Unhinged Productions will present a series of readings in January. Entitled the 'Pre-Stonewall Play Readings,' the events will feature staged readings of three sensational plays written before June 28, 1969. The readings will include EDWARD II by Christopher Marlowe, SALOME by Oscar Wilde, and THE CHILDREN'S HOUR by Lillian Hellman.

A MAN OF NO IMPORTANCE Gets West End Treatment, February 9

Whatsonstage.com is reporting that the award-winning off-Broadway Musical, A Man of o Importance created by the writers of Ragtime, will get West End treatment when The Union Theatre's celebrated fringe production transfers to the Arts Theatre next month. The production will run in a limited engagement from 9 February (preview) to 27 February 2010.

Diversionary Theatre will produce the West Coast premiere of Nona Shepphard's The Marriage Bed as the fourth show of their 2009-2010 season. In The Marriage Bed, Jeni loves Val and Val loves Jeni. But is that enough reason to get married, especially when you're not sure your girlfriend is over her ex, and one of you is not out to your family? Diversionary's production will be directed by Rosina Reynolds, and feature Dana Hooley and Dré Slaman. The show will run for three weeks from February 11-28.
