Lantern Theater Company announces its 2015-2016 season comprised of two Philadelphia premieres bookending the season, a world premiere at the centerpiece of the year, a remounting of a Barrymore Award-winning production, and the annual Shakespeare production. The season features Photograph 51 by Anna Ziegler, Underneath the Lintel (An Impressive Presentation of Lovely Evidences) by Glen Berger, Oscar Wilde: From the Depths by Charles McMahon, William Shakespeare's As You Like It and 36 Views by Naomi Iizuka.

In the coming weeks, 54 Below revisits some of our favorite Broadway productions with concert events celebrating beloved scores as well as reunions bringing together original company members.

The Department of Theater/Dance at UC Santa Barbara and director Simon Williams presents a fresh take on Oscar Wilde's famous play, The Importance of Being Earnest. Among the funniest plays ever written, The Importance of Being Earnest is a heady cocktail of mistaken identity, young lovers, hilariously dated elders, high style and pithy social commentary - all reimagined for this production in the 1930s. The Importance of Being Earnest runs tonight, February 13 - 21, 2015 in the Performing Arts Theater on the UC Santa Barbara campus.

The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre, the acclaimed comedy/variety show, will return to Joe's Pub at The Public Theater on Sunday, February 15 at 9:30 PM to continue the Winter/Spring 2015 Season. The February show will be a celebration of International Bottom Appreciation Day, the holiday traditionally held on February 15, the day after Valentine's Day. ICKamsterdam's production of 'ROCCO,' combines the two, pitting four dancers against each other in the ring, with the audience seated arena-style on the stage of the Kasser Theater, where Peak Performances presents the 65-minute show, this weekend, February 12-15.

Dorset Theatre Festival announces its 2015 Season, featuring 3 Regional Premieres, 2 Pulitzer Prize winners, its 6th Annual New Play Reading Series and new for this year - a Family Fun Series designed to introduce quality theatre to the next generation of theatre-goers. "When I went about looking for the right plays for us to present this summer, my one criteria was to find plays that were moving, that make people care. The Geffen Playhouse announces the cast for its West Coast premiere production of Conor McPherson's The Night Alive, helmed by Geffen Playhouse Artistic Director Randall Arney. This production will feature Paul Vincent O'Connor (August: Osage County at the National Theatre, London), Fiona O'Shaughnessy (Utopia), Dan Donohue (The Lion King on Broadway), Denis Arndt (Basic Instinct), and Peter O'Meara (Band of Brothers).

Chicago Children's Theatre has announced a one-week extension of its current hit production, Blair Thomas & Company's The Selfish Giant.

Ralph Watson, Nick Waring and Patience Tomlinson lead the cast of the The Heart of Things by Giles Cole, which premieres at Jermyn Street Theatre this Spring. Giles is joined by director Knight Mantell, to reform the team that created the hugely acclaimed The Art of Concealment about the life of Terence Rattigan, which was staged at the same theatre in 2012. With impeccable timing, as the 2015 election campaign goes into overdrive and the political parties are once again at each other's throats, Close Quarter Productions presents this poignant and gripping family drama set against the background of the 2010 general election. The production runs from March 10 to April 4 as part of the theatre's twenty-first anniversary year.
