CRT to Stage Regional Premiere of SHERLOCK HOLMES & THE WEST END HORROR

For the fourth show in their 44th annual summer season, Cortland Repertory Theatre presents the Central New York premiere of the new mystery/comedy "Sherlock Holmes & the West End Horror" by Marcia Milgrom Dodge and Anthony Dodge, adapted from the novel by Nicholas Meyer. Performances will run from July 29th - August 8th with evening performances at 7:30 PM.  Matinees are available on July 31st, 4th, and 5th at 2:00 PM.  Tickets may be purchased by calling 800-427-6160 or at the CRT Box Office at 24 Port Watson Street in Cortland. Tickets are also available for sale 24 hours a day through the CRT website at www.cortlandrep.org.

New York City, NY (FOR RELEASE 7.20.15) --- Hailed recently by The New York Times as “ingenious,” New York City's Ensemble for the Romantic Century (ERC) returns to the Berkshires for the third consecutive summer with the regional premiere of the theatrical concert Van Gogh's Ear. In partnership with the American Institute for Economic Research and the Clark Art Institute, the 10-day, 12-performance series of Van Gogh's Ear complements Clark's art exhibition Van Gogh and Nature and features a special pre-performance discussion August 25th led by the Clark's curator at large, Richard Kendall.

Bohemia is a new musical set in 1890s Prague that combines the music of Dvo?ak and Chopin, with art by Alphonse Mucha. Historic artists like Sarah Bernhardt, George Sand, and Oscar Wilde interweave with green fairies, aerial numbers, dance, burlesque, classical piano battles, comedy, and original songs.

Dead Writers Theatre Collective presents four performances of the Oscar Wilde bio-play, The Judas Kiss, on August 6 through 8 at the Stage 773 Cabaret, 1225 West Belmont Avenue in honor of the recent Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage. Full casting has now been announced for The Bunbury Company of Players production of Oscar Wilde's much loved and witty masterpiece THE IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST, which will embark on a first class regional tour from Autumn this year. The play will be on at the Theatre Royal Glasgow from Tuesday 24 to Saturday 28 November 2015.
