Recording for the album started in February of last year at Outlier Studio in update New York and was finalized after a long pause due to Covid earlier this year at The Birdhouse in New York City.

On June 1, 2020, his alma mater, Lawrence County High School in Louisa, Kentucky, bestowed upon him an honorary high school diploma for all of his work in music.

Today, Los Angeles-based producer, composer, pianist, DJ, and vocalist Taylor McFerrin released his new single “Love and Distance.” Okayplayer praised the track, calling it “tender and warbled... [falling] square between Kool & The Gang's astral-plaining 'Summer Madness' and the half-muted heartbreak of Slum Village's 'Fall in Love.'” “Love and Distance” is taken from McFerrin's new album Love's Last Chance, which is out on August 16th via AWAL.

Headed to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2019, 'Jennifer B' is the new musical created by Tish Tindal AKA The Fabulous TT based on the impelling book series by Angie Langley. The hilarious, heart-warming story follows Jennifer B, a pint sized thirty-something who takes us on a journey of self- discovery and inspirational blunders in this refreshing new show which will be playing on August 13th, 15th and 17th at The Space UK, Edinburgh.
