The musicals are coming! Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival launches another highly anticipated season of "Broadway in the Finger Lakes," with a variety of regional premieres, Broadway classics, off-the-wall comedies, and the next generation of musical theater at three different theaters. The season opens on May 29 with "Menopause The Musical" at MGR Downtown at the Auburn Public Theater in Auburn, New York. This hilarious musical is great for a ladies' night out and has kept millions of women laughing and celebrating the change.
The stunning new production of Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber's Evita will make its Twin Cities premiere January 28-February 2, 2014 at the Orpheum Theatre (910 Hennepin Ave.) in Minneapolis. This version features updated orchestrations, choreography and scenic design offering a more authentic portrait of Argentinean culture and Eva's rise to and fall from power. Performances of EVITA at the Fabulous Fox Theatre run tonight, October 8 -20. Show times are Today through Saturday evenings at 8pm, Saturday afternoons at 2pm and Sunday afternoons at 1pm. There will be an evening performance on Sunday, October 13 at 6pm and a matinee on Thursday, October 17 at 1pm.
