Two New Deweys to Shred in SCHOOL OF ROCK on Broadway

Hand-picked by producer and composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, newcomers Justin Collette and Conner John Gillooly will join the cast of School of Rock - The Musical in the role of failed, wannabe rocker, Dewey Finn.

Haven Theatre Completes 2017-18 Season with FEAR AND MISERY OF THE THIRD REICH

Haven Theatre is pleased to announce the final production slated for its 2017-18 Season, Bertolt Brecht's unsettling and unflinching drama FEAR AND MISERY OF THE THIRD REICH, translated by Eric Bentley and directed by Artistic Director Josh Sobel, playing February 8 March 11, 2018. Chris Rock Makes Surprise Appearance at Second City's George Wendt Roast; Event Raises $200K

The Second City and Gilda's Club Chicago celebrated a once in a lifetime evening at the comedy institution's iconic Mainstage theater during a star-studded benefit, I Can't Believe They Wendt There: The Roast of George Wendt. More than 230 guests dined, drank and donated while being entertained by a raucous panel of roasters and special guests that concluded with a surprise appearance by Chris Rock.

LTR House Party Premieres with Jan Rosenberg's WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU

Less Than Rent Theatre will kick-off LTR HOUSE PARTY, a new reading series presenting bold, innovative works by emerging playwrights, with a staged reading of Jan Rosenberg's What's Wrong With You at Axis Theatre in the West Village. The reading stars Ruth Aguilar (Rancho Viejo), Amanda Brooklyn (Our Town at Green-Wood, LTR company member), Chris Brown (What Would Crazy Horse Do?), Kimber Monroe (South Pacific), Courtney Gabrielle Williams (Pussy Sludge, LTR company member), and Brandon Zelman (Woyzeck: The Human Experiment, LTR company member), directed by Scott F. Davis (Next Faggot Nation).

SOCAL CONNECTED Returns to KCET for 8th Season Premiering 10/10

KCET, the nation's largest independent public television station, announced today the return of Emmy award-winning weekly half-hour local news series SOCAL CONNECTED. The longest running newsmagazine program in Los Angeles has a renewed commitment to always questioning critical decisions that impact Angelenos. The eighth season of SOCAL CONNECTED anchored by Val Zavala premieres Tues., Oct. 10 at 8 p.m. on KCET in Southern California.
